Cinderella Ate My Daughter by Peggy Orenstein LOTS of picture books, especially (repeatedly): The Very Hungry Caterpiller by Eric Carle, Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, Beetle Bop by Denise Fleming, and Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! by Mo Willems
I read this book in 6th grade and don't remember much of it, but I saw the movies recently and loved them, especially the one with Colin Firth. It's on my list of books to read this summer, too, so we'll have to discuss when we're finished. :)
Pride and Prejudice is my favorite Jane Austen novel. I read it a lot for my senior thesis (which was on Jane Austen) and I still love it. I hope you enjoy it! But I do understand it is not everyone's cup of tea. :)
